We invite you to visit the Viale Italia at ACTFL’s Annual Convention and World Languages Expo 2015 at the San Diego Convention Center from November 20-22, where the following Italian exhibitors, including language schools and publishers, will present their offerings:

Consulate General of Italy
Thinking about attending university in Italy? Italian taught in your elementary or high school? Paola Ebranati, Education Attaché for the Consulate General of Italy in Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco, is your woman!

Accademia Italiana:
We invite you to swing by our booth #938, where you can learn more information about out scholarship program for teachers! The program is comprised of a two week Italian immersion where you will learn through Italian courses and experience an international learning environment.

Campus L’Infinito:
Visit us at booth #940 to learn about all the programs and enter to win an unforgettable experience in Italy, which includes a 2-week summer course with excursions and housing.

Centro Studi Italiani:
Visit booth #936 to learn about all the programs and enter to win an unforgettable experience in Italy, which includes a two week summer course, housing, weekly excursions, and transfers.

Club Italiano Dante Alighieri:
Improve your teaching & Glottodidactic skills with the possibility to receive one of our full scholarships based in Rome for teachers! The opportunity includes two weeks in Rome, with observations in our international classes from Monday to Friday, 9AM-1PM. Learn more about it by visiting our booth #942!

Edizioni Edilingua:
Edilingua is waiting for you at booth #937 where you can browse all the titles of the catalog and to receive information and promotional material! Furthermore, you are all invited to the workshop on Friday, November 20th from 11:30 to 12:20 (Workshop room # 4) entitled “Edilingua’s Italian course books for adults and teenagers.” Attendees will work on the courses and receive a sample copy of the book.

Fondazione Italia:
Fondazione Italia is a is a California 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1998 for the purpose of promoting the teaching of the Italian language and culture in Southern California. Not only do they offer extra-curricular Italian language courses to children and adults but they are also and Italian Accessor Agency for the Italian CSET, and work in close collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles and the Education Office at the Italian Consulate in San Francisco to administer a grant program to start and maintain K-12 Italian language programs in. Everyone is invited to the Fondazione Italia sponsored workshop on Sunday, November 22 from 11:15 to 12:15 pm where Executive Director, Hilary Stern, will be mediating a presentation at the San Diego Convention Center, Room 29A on “A K-6 Italian Dual-Language Program: Implementation, Challenges & Outcomes.”

Sant’Anna Institute:
Where can high school and university students dive into the authenticity of Southern Italian culture? At Sant’Anna Institute in Sorrento, Italy, where else? Visit booth #939 to discover more about how Sant’Anna’s programs are integrated into the host community through tandem projects, internships, service learning activities, field-trips, and more!
