University of Pennsylvania: Full-Time Lecturer in Italian

The Department of Romance Languages invites applications for a full-time Lecturer.  This is not a tenure-track position.  The full-time Lecturer will teach all levels of undergraduate Italian language and culture in an undergraduate program committed to dynamic language instruction.  The full-time Lecturer will teach two undergraduate courses of elementary through advanced language and culture courses, and two graduate-level pedagogy courses per year.  The full-time Lecturer will also serve as Undergraduate Chair in Italian and Director of the Italian Language Program.  Native or near-native linguistic ability in Italian, teaching experience at the university level, and excellent teaching credentials are required. Ph.D. required.
