Part-time Italian Teacher at Our Lady’s Academy – Waltham, MA

Our Lady’s Academy seeks an exceptional part-time Italian language teacher who is highly qualified and knowledgeable to join our community of teachers, learners and leaders. Starting Date: January 4, 2021

We are seeking a candidate who will meet the needs of our students from Early Childhood thru grade 8 for this academic year. OLA has established itself as an outstanding school that educates the whole child: intellectual, spiritual, moral, social, emotional, and physical. Our Italian program presents an integrated skills approach to Italian. Listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills are developed. The primary objective of the program is to offer students an opportunity to acquire communication skills while developing an awareness and appreciation of Italian culture. Our student-centered, proficiency-oriented program seeks to inspire our learners through continuous comprehensible input and engaging teaching which incorporates differentiated, individualized and personalized instruction.

Job Requirements

  • Part time days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:45 until 2:35.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
