Grant & Scholarship Detail
The AATI EC is happy to announce 5 Teaching Black Italy Teaching Grants. The grant will cover half the cost of registration for a course. AATI members in good standing are eligible to apply. The Association will award one grant per category:
- K-8 (if possible, if there are no viable applicants, we reserve the right to award two HS awards)
- High School
- graduate student
- contingent university faculty member
- TT assistant professor

Applicants will be asked to upload the following document:
FOR K-12 APPLICANTS (Post-secondary applicants, see below): Upload a tentative working proposal in which you imagine a didactic unit. Please make sure to specify grade & linguistic level, share at least 3 learning outcomes with your lesson plan. [Applications without a file upload will not be considered for the grant.]
FOR POST-SECONDARY APPLICANTS: Upload a tentative outline for a new course. Include a minimum of 3 learning outcomes, 2 thematic didactic units, required texts (literature, film/media, etc), and 2 assessment tools. Recipients will be expected to not only expand upon this plan but also present the final product. [Applications without a file upload will not be considered for the grant.]
