Online Classes



For Single class registration: If you are registering for only one course, select “Add To Cart” under your desired course, and then select “View Cart” to increase number of students per class, if desired, and to check out.

For Multiple class registrations: If you are registering for more than one course, select “Add to Cart” for all of the courses you will be enrolling family members in. Once you have finished adding your courses, select “View Cart” to check out.

Payment Method: At the end of the registration process you will be given the option to pay by credit card or check/money order. If you choose to pay by check/money order, you will receive a registration confirmation by email to be printed out and mailed to us along with your payment.

Cancellations: For all online classes if you need to cancel your registration by the first day of the course we will provide a credit towards a future online or traditional group class. We need a minimum of 4 students to have the course.

01 Ragazzi Italiani - Online

Our Ragazzi Italiani (Italian Teens) course is designed for middle and high school students, ages 12 to 16 years, who already have a strong foundation in Italian and wish to develop communicative competence in reading, listening, writing and speaking while exploring multiple aspects of  Italian society, literature, history and culture.

04 Adult Beginning Ia - Online

Beginning 1a is the first course in a two-course Beginning I series that is designed for beginners with little or no Italian language background. Our goal during this 8-week online course is to create a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Italian. Classes will be held in a live virtual classroom with a native Italian speaker who has experience teaching Italian in traditional and online settings. Learn the language of love, art, food and more!

05 Adult Pre-Intermediate Ia - Online

Pre-intermediate 1a is the first  course in a two-course Pre-Intermediate I series that is designed for for students who have an established low beginning knowledge of Italian. Our goal during this 8-week online course is to continue to build new vocabulary regarding “daily life and weather,” “flavors of Italy,” “food,” and “family.” Students will learn the passato prossimo, how to use direct pronouns, possessive adjectives and the reflexive verb tense. At the end of the course, we hope to build a student’s knowledge to be able to confidently speak about events that have happened in the past, time spent on vacation, and family.

06 Adult Advanced 2a - Online

Advanced 2a is the first course in a two-course Advanced II series designed for students who have an established low advanced knowledge of Italian.  Throughout this 8-week course, students will learn the congiuntivo imperfetto, continue to build the agreement between time frame and verb family.  At the end of the course, we hope to build a student’s knowledge to be able to confidently give a detailed explanation on an event that occurred in the past or present and make comparisons and judgements.

07 B1 Path to Citizenship for Intermediate - Online

Start Date: March 24, 2020

As of 4 December 2018, an adequate knowledge of the Italian language, at least at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (Council of Europe 2001), is required when applying for Italian citizenship (marriage and residency).
This course focuses on teaching the necessary skills to pass the CILS B1 Citizenship test. Previous knowledge of Italian is necessary to attend this course. Please, contact us to request an assessment test before enrolling. The next test date is June 4, 2020. Please note: It is the student's responsibility to register for the exam at a testing center near them.
