FILM: Screening of Malèna at Bowers Museum – August 16

CINEMA ITALIANO! Offered by the Italian Cultural Arts Council presents Malèna directed by Giuseppe Tornatore on Sunday, August 16 at the Bowers Museum.
In 1941, Renato is 13 years old and although the world is at war, nothing ever happens in his sleepy village in Sicily until the day he discovered something that would change his life forever… Malèna. She is the beautiful young war widow who is the obsession of every man and the envy of every woman. Because of her, Renato will learn all of life’s lessons and find himself in places he never could have imagined (Italian with English subtitles).

Parking Notice! The north and south lots cost $6. Disabled parking is free. There is free parking in a public lot on Main Street (a short walk across from North Lot with easy access back to museum by traffic signal) Street parking is free.
