This 20-week course focuses on teaching directly to the CILS B1 Citizenship exam. Students for this course will be preparing for the test being offered on December 3, 2021 and should have a pre-intermediate level of Italian proficiency to enroll in this course. Please contact us to take an assessment test. Course work review grammar and provide mock practice tests and exam structure overview to familiarize test takers with each part of the exam. It is the student's responsibility to register for the exam and a testing center near them. Please contact us to discuss payment plan options.

Italiano e Arte + Architettura led by artist Ylenia Mino, teaches students 5 to 9 years old about masterpieces of Italian art and architecture such as Botticelli's Primavera or the Colosseum. Each lesson guides students to increase their vocabulary and discover curiosities about the works of art and the artist. Students will also get creative and follow Ylenia in a guided painting activity of the various masterpiece to allow for a deeper connection with the art and the artist.

Davvero Italiano per Ragazzi is a multi-level course taught in Italian designed for students ages 13+ that presents cultural comparisons and common communication errors when speaking Italian through the use of short comic story in which a cultural or linguistic misunderstanding are presented in a fun and interactive way.
Primi Passi (“First Steps”) is a fun-filled 30-minute "Parent & Me" style online language immersion class for toddlers that includes songs, movement and story-telling to engage children while teaching them Italian. Only Italian will be spoken in class.
Join Geronimo Stilton and his team in a new adventure throughout the "Thousand Wonders" (Le Mille Meraviglie) of the regions of Italy! This NEW course presented in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles is based on a special edition of Geronimo Stilton, "Viaggio alla Scoperta Dell'Italia," that was created for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the aim of bringing kids closer to the many artistic and cultural beauties of Italy, even the lesser-known ones! In our highly engaging multi-level course, kids 7+ will be involved in a treasure hunt that takes them on a journey to discover the land and culture of Italy. A copy of the book will be donated to each student by the Italian Cultural Institute. The classes will be taught in Italian (English when necessary).
Italiani Famosi(Famous Italians) is a new course that gives Beginning 1 & 2 level students the opportunity to broaden their vocabulary and work on their listening, comprehension and pronunciation skills while learning about moments in the lives of Gianni Versace, Federico Fellini, Lucrezia Borgia and several other famous Italians. Through engaging storytelling and interesting activities, students will immerse themselves not only in the Italian language but also in the Italian culture that is interwoven into the stories. Each lesson on a famous Italian is accompanied by grammar exercises to reinforce the concepts presented and cultural information pages that the students can delve into both in class and on their own. Italiano in Cucina is a conversation course designed for Beginning 2 to Pre-Intermediate students that promises to ‘spice-up’ your engagement and interest as lessons are centered around guided conversations on Italian food and cooking. Each week students will be introduced to a typical Italian recipe, its history and vocabulary through dialogues, stories and various activities geared towards learning Italian in a fun and frustration-free way! Students will also learn fun facts, idiomatic expressions and proverbs related to food and cooking that will make them sound like a real Italian. Your teacher is Ylenia.
Pre-Intermediate 2b is designed for students who have an established low pre-intermediate knowledge of Italian. The course begins with a review of the main points that were taught in Pre-Intermediate 2a. During this 6-week crash course, students will implement new vocabulary regarding “shopping,” and physical characteristics, the conditional and imperative verb tenses, and the use of superlatives. At the end of the course, we hope to build a student’s knowledge to confidently speak about memories, give advice, make comparisons and describe in detail a person and setting. This customized course is a THANK YOU to Intermediate level students who week after week have been taking Italian with us. Each week students will dive into subjects chosen by them to explore and discuss including any aspect of the Italian culture from a modern song to a short movie, to the origins of a favorite dish or cocktail, to reading an intriguing story or article and much more! This course has been designed for Advanced students interested in deepening their knowledge of Italian grammar and Italian literature. Each class is divided into three segments: advanced grammar, Italian literature, and open table conversations on the weekly subject. Pre-Intermediate 1a Review and Conversation is designed for students who have an established high beginning knowledge of Italian. During this six-week course, students will review the main topics taught during Pre-Intermediate 1a and put their knowledge into practice through conversation and other activities. In-person Italian Immersion Summer Camp for kids ages 4-10 is back! Our campers enjoy language arts, music, outdoor fun, interactive games, arts & crafts and movement -all in Italian! Our passionate and experienced native speaking teachers serve as counselors as they lead campers from one great activity to the next. Our camp will definitely increase your child’s language ability! Please note that if there are any changes in the city protocol for summer camps that will require us to cancel the camp you will receive a full refund.
