NEW! Prepare for the B1 Italian Citizenship Language Exam with Fondazione Italia

Date 08.07.2019

Due to an amendment in Italian law, applicants for Italian citizenship (marriage and residency) must prove an adequate knowledge of the Italian language. This means that applicants must obtain at least an Italian B1 level certification in language competency. Applicants who can prove citizenship by descent do not need to obtain a B1 certification.

Fondazione Italia has recently launched two NEW online courses specifically geared to preparing students for the CILS B1 Citizenship exam.
