Online Ragazzi Italiani

Our Ragazzi Italiani (Italian Teens) is an Italian language course that is divided into two proficiency levels, Ragazzi Italiani I and II. This course is designed for middle and high students ages 12-16 years old who already have a foundation in Italian and wish to develop communicative competence in reading, listening, writing and speaking while exploring multiple aspects of the Italian society and culture.  The curriculum is developed to meet the Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century and is designed to help students begin building the skills needed to do well on the Italian SAT® and AP® Italian Language and Culture exam.

Ragazzi Italiani I level students will have a pre-intermediate level command of Italian while Ragazzi Italiani II students will have a strong intermediate knowledge or higher command of Italian, or have taken Ragazzi Italiani I for several sessions and have the prior approval from the teacher. If you are unsure which level your child should be enrolled in, please email the teacher, Simona Cavadini, to arrange an interview. Assessments can also be made after the first day of classes.
